Yes, in many cases we can. Whether you’ve changed your mind about the neckline, want sleeves added, need additional support or would like the silhouette altered, we can discuss what is possible with your particular gown. More extensive changes will be assessed individually and quoted before any work begins.

We’ll always do our best to help where our schedule allows. However, short-notice alterations require additional planning and may incur a rush charge. The applicable percentage is based on how close your first fitting is to your wedding date and is added to the alteration cost.

We recommend getting in touch as soon as you have your wedding dress and wedding date confirmed. Bridal seamstresses can become fully booked, particularly during peak wedding season, so booking early gives you the best chance of securing your preferred fitting dates.

We normally work with two fittings approch, however if your dress require more bespoke work a third fitting will be scheduled accordingly. we usually scheduled around twelve, four weeks before your wedding day. This allows enough time to complete the alterations, assess the fit and make any final refinements before your gown is ready.

Don’t worry — we understand that bodies change. Ideally, we recommend being close to your desired shape before your first fitting, but our fitting process allows room for adjustments. We can reassess the fit at your subsequent appointments and adapt the alterations where possible.

If something changes after your final fitting, such as your shoes, undergarments or a request for an additional detail, we can assess what needs to be done and provide a quotation for any extra work. Subject to availability, we’ll arrange another appointment to make sure your gown is ready for the big day.

Just let us know. Different gowns can require very different levels of work, so if you change your dress after receiving your original estimate, we’ll review the new gown and provide an updated quotation.

Yes, absolutely. Your shoes determine the height and therefore the finished length of your gown. Even a small difference in heel height can affect the hem, so we recommend bringing the exact shoes you intend to wear on your wedding day to your first fitting.

We strongly recommend choosing your wedding shoes before your first fitting and keeping the same heel height throughout the alteration process. Changing to a higher or lower shoe after your hem has been completed may mean that further alterations are necessary and, in some cases, may not be possible without affecting the design of the gown.

Please bring the undergarments and foundation garments you intend to wear with your gown. Different bras and shapewear can change the way your body sits within the dress, so having the correct garments from the beginning helps us achieve the most accurate fit.

In many cases, yes. We can discuss options such as stitching bra cups into your gown or adding additional boning for support. The best solution depends on the construction of your dress and the level of support you require.

Yes, bespoke sleeves can often be created and added to your gown. We have access to a range of fabrics and laces that can be selected to complement your dress. If your bridal boutique or designer can supply matching fabric when you purchase the gown, this is often the best way to achieve an exact match.

Of course. We understand that fittings are an important part of the bridal experience. We recommend bringing one or two people with you so there is enough space in the fitting area and everyone can comfortably be involved.

We understand that plans can change, but we ask that you provide as much notice as possible. During busy wedding periods, fitting appointments can be limited, so moving an appointment may require some flexibility with alternative dates and times.
